Beauty brand The Lip Bar has launched its first non-lip product. In a two-layer compact, the Fresh Glow is a bronzer-blush duo that comes in five shades to suit all skin tones. The shade range includes hues in light tan, deep ebony, and even a glittery peach to a sparkly burgundy.
Before we dive into the new product, for unfamiliar, here’s a little background on The Lip Bar. Its founder, Melissa Butler, first launched the brand in 2012 while she was working on Wall Street. Three years (and a whole lot of product ideating) later, she took The Lip Bar to Shark Tank, where the hosts grossly critiqued her and her partner’s business idea. Despite the hosts’ remarks, Butler and co. went on to launch The Lip Bar, which includes an array of lip products, and is now sold in Target and in its own Detroit-based flagship store.
