No matter the length, a thick, full mane of hair is always what’s popping. As a result, hair loss can be devastating, especially for younger men and women.

- Chemotherapy – consists of powerful medication that attack rapidly growing cancer cells, which also attacks other rapidly growing cells in the body including hair roots
- Too much vitamin A – Most dietary provitamin A comes from orange and yellow vegetables, leafy green vegetables, tomato products, fruits, and some vegetable oils. The nutrient helps strengthen hair from breaking and helps produce a healthy sebum to nourish and protect the hair. Too much of the nutrient can cause hair to fall out but is 100% reversible as soon as the vitamin exits the body, hair growth should return to normal.
- Hypothyroidism – it is unusual for mild, subclinical hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, or short-lived thyroid problems to cause hair loss. When hypothyroidism is the cause of hair loss, is is diffuse, and affects the entire scalp.
