When you see singer-songwriter Billie Eilish, without a doubt you see her signature neon green roots. But soon, that may change.
In a recent sit down with People, Billie shared that there will be plenty of changes coming once her documentary film on Apple+ drops at the top of 2021. “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry” will premiere on February 26, 2021. Her story is somewhat of a whirlwind. She was only 18 when she won 5 Grammys in 2019. She became the youngest artist to win Album of the Year at the Grammys for her album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” According to the Grammys, she also won Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, plus Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Bad Guy.”
Yet even with all her success, not everyone is happy about her appearance, and she knows it. She frequently uses her Instagram story to joke with her fans about things like her hair. She recently took to her account to clear the air.
“F— you guys,” she laughed on her Instagram story. “Stop making fun of me, my god! I’m f—ing making you an album. I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!”
She continued, “I’m changing it after the doc comes out. It’ll be the end of an era, I’ma give you a new era… I have announcements to make, I got some s— to put out. Anyway, leave me alone. Let me live with my f—ing hair that I’ve had for way too long. Okay? Shut the f— up.”
Billie is also known for her super long nails and baggy streetwear. We’ll just have to stay tuned until next year to see her debut the complete new look.
